Happy Valentine’s Day! This card is a 5 x 5 and the front is done with every little heart stamp I could dig out of my stash and the Gina K Wreath builder template. I used the so so pretty All My Love DSP.
The inside features the beautiful Karen Burniston Heart Pivot die with a pattern on pattern design.
Here’s a close up to show you the details. These hearts are so pretty! Hugs, Fran
February is the month of Love, Sweet Love, and the Design Team has some sweet cards for you! I started with a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card showing off the Karen Burniston Ice Cream Sundae die. The sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp die/stamp called Love You Like.
Aren’t the Ice Cream Cones cute? I added the face to coordinate with the patterned paper.
Inside is the Ice Cream Sundae pop up mechanism with all the lovely designer pieces! The bowl and spoon have a great emboss on them! I also used the KB Border Blends Party die to make the accent border. The movement with this die is amazing.
That spoon really moves as the card is opened!
Isn’t love sweet? Check out Karen’s blog post tomorrow to see her card and all the design teams creations! Hugs, Fran
Here’s a special Valentine’s card for a special someone. This is a 5 x 5 card that has glitter embossing paste in hearts on the left side and stripes on the right side. I added some Petal Pink re-inker to the hearts to make it more tone on tone.
The heart is dry embossed with the Abstract Impressions die and then die cut with a Meant To Be heart. The Love You is from Karen Burniston’s Love Word set. The scallop on the side is die cut with the die from Colorful Seasons.
Inside is the Karen Burniston Heart Pivot die. Note – these colors were so hard to photograph! Most of the details from the front are repeated on the inside.
Here’s a close up of the Heart Pivot. (You can click on the pictures to make them larger)
Thought I sneak in another Karen Burniston Circle Charm card using the Get Well Charms. Since everyone around here is sniffling and sneezing it seemed appropriate!
Aren’t these germs cute? Whoever thought I’d say that? But they are a great way to let someone know that you’re thinking of them.
I added some googly eyes to my germs just for fun! Hope you are well 🙂 Hugs, Fran
This is a new die from Karen Burniston called Garden Charms. I paired it with the Circle Charm Die.
I die cut the Garden Charms in white and colored them my Copic markers. I even added a little border on the sides with the new Border Blends Party die.
Behind the center circle I added a piece of window sheet just to give it a bit more stability. Really fun to make! Hugs, Fran
Another sneak peek of a new die from Karen Burniston! This 5 x 5 card uses Happy Birthday on the front – and lots of foil paper which doesn’t photograph very well at all! The paper is the new How Sweet It Is from Stampin Up,
It’s an Ice Cream Sundae on the inside! Isn’t it cute? The movement as it opens is amazing!
The bowl and spoon dies create some really nice embossing. You might also spy some new border dies 🙂 Yep – they’re coming too! Hugs, Fran
Thought I’d tease you with a sneak peek of one of Karen Burniston’s upcoming dies! This is the Circle Tag Book along with Feathered Friends and some Congratulations words.
Isn’t this cute? I paired it with Stampin Up’s Tropical Chic DSP.
These dies will be available at the end of the month – but I thought you needed a little tease today! Hugs, Fran
Love is in the Air! The Paper Pros challenge is LOVE and I’m all for that 🙂 I had some bits and pieces around from a Stampin Up kit and decided they would make a great card. Inside the window is the cake die cut with a flower die cut and when you open it….
You find the Karen Burniston Spinner Square with some wedding wishes. I love these colors and I love the sentiment popping out from behind the cake. Make sure to check out the other Paper Pros and see their LOVEly cards! Hugs, Fran
Happy New Year! It’s so much fun to start the New Year with a challenge for the KB Design Team! Anything New – a tag book? That’s not new to me 🙂 But what is new to me is the inside.
I used a double Spinner Square card inside – shown by Karen last month. The foil paper was a bit difficult to attach things too – but I made it work.
I used lots of balloons to decorate the inside! Nothing like a few balloons to brighten up the celebration! The sentiments and greetings are from a new Stampin Up set called Itty Bitty Birthday. I embossed them in gold.
The greeting is die cut from black Glitter paper. Hope you enjoy! Karen’s card will be posted tomorrow on her blog so make sure to check it out! Hugs, Fran
