Stuffed Turkey

Mingle All the Way 04

My second card for Karen Burniston’s Design Team challenge is for Thanksgiving.  I used her Circle Accordion die and lots of punches to create a turkey!  My turkey is punched from Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso and Crushed Curry. The Designer Series paper is SU’s Color Me Autumn.  I went around the circle with the KB Rings Frame Edges 1 and lots of Cajun Craze Candy Dots.  The leaves are punched from the SU Bird punch and finished off with an Early Espresso button and twine.

Inside shows off a greeting from Mingle All the Way (Holiday Mini).  I hope you’ll jump over to Karen’s Facebook page to see an “entire year” of ideas from all the designers!

Shaker Up Baby

Baby We've Grown 02

This little Circle Accordion album (Karen Burniston) uses Baby We’ve Grown on the front with a little rose and some punched leaves.  The pacifier in the corner is from my stash – no idea where it’s from!  I do love the bunny in this set!

Baby We've Grown 02 open

Open it shows the shaker piece in the middle and a sentiment from Something to Say. To make the shaker, I die cut a circle from the center of the accordion piece.  Then I die cut 2 circle from acetate and sewed around them, leaving a small opening at the top which I filled with punched stars and hearts.  I added some pink micro beads and glued the opening shut with glue dots.  Attaching it to the opening with glue dots, I made a separate ring to finish off the back.
