Cray 4 Challenges – Celebrate

PIU Baker Beaver 04

Today the Crazies are Celebrating!  This is Raquel’s son’s birthday so the theme is celebrating those special people in our lives.  I chose Karen Burniston’s Baker the Beaver to star on my card.  This card is 4 x 8 1/2  so it can hold Baker’s enormous cake!  (Looks like he needs some help!) Baker and the cake are on an action wobble.

I used several Stampin UP sets on this card – Build a Birthday, Birthday Fiesta and Birthday Banners!  Enjoy all the celebrating going on with the Crazies!  Hugs, Fran

Many Candles

Build a Birthday 04

Candles, candles, everywhere!  I stamped candles from Build a Birthday across the front of this card in Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder and added flames in Crushed Curry.  The strip under the sentiment is actually the Cherry on Top Washi tape with Whisper White under it.  (yes, I could have used the DSP – no, I didn’t even think about it!)

A little Dazzling Details on the flames to make them sparkle.  The scallop border punch is retired (wwwwhhhhaaatt???)  and the sentiment is die cut using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.  A little birthday fun.  Hugs, Fran

Build a Big Birthday

Build a Birthday 02

This is a 9 x 4 inch card – a BIG birthday wish!  Using Build a Birthday and Perfect Pennants, it’s a stack of birthday goodness.  Since Build a Birthday is a photopolymer stamp, it’s easy to stack them up. I add some stitching up and down one side and some Crystal Effects.  The Designer Series Paper is Cherry on Top. And the Envelope Punch Board makes an envelope for this side!  Hugs, Fran

Build a Birthday Bag

Build a Birthday 01

Here’s a Build a Birthday gift bag made with the Irresistible Specialty paper.  There is new Color Me Irresistible paper in the new catalog.  To to do this bag, I cut my paper 6 x 12 and covered the entire piece with painters tape.  Brayer or sponge on the color on the first area of paper and remove the next piece of tape.  Wipe off the paper to get the embossed white to show through. Use the tape to cover the area you just did and brayer on more color.  You will need to gently wipe off the ink from the tape too. I chose the colors in the Cherry on Top DSP  – Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder. Pool Party and Crushed Curry.  Then I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to finish the bag.  It’s a fun look for a small effort – perfect!  Hugs, Fran
