Here’s another Perfect Mix card. I found this very retired piece of Tempting Turquoise patterned paper and put it to use. The egg carton image is colored with Copics and one egg is paper Pieced with the reverse of the flower paper and then covered with Crystal Effects. Very easy! Hugs, Fran

Perfect Mix Birthday
Here’s a very simple card for you! I used Perfect Mix from the Occasions catalog to make this birthday card. I stamped the mixer twice – once on Pacific Pint and once on the Whisper White and then fussy cut the blue one and popped it up over the sentiment. I went over the lines on the mixer with a silver gel pen. The background patterned paper is from Party Animals DSP. Hugs, Fran
Stylized Birthday
Totally inspired by a Jennifer McGuire card, these feature the Stylized Birthday stamp set.
For this one I stamped the background using Paisleys & Posies stamp set in Versamark and then sponged ink over it. (Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight) The sentiment was stamped on a stitched Framelit and the top Paisley stamped above it. Little enamel dots and Dazzling Details were added.
This was done the same way using Garden in Bloom with Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi. Very fun to make! Hugs, Fran
Bunch of Blossoms in Blue
This set is called Bunch of Blossoms and it’s a three step stamp set that makes beautiful flowers. I used Marina Mist and Soft Sky to stamp the flowers and Old Olive on the stems and leaves. There is a matching punch for the flowers.
The flowers are popped up on Dimensionals and the ends of flowers (where they meet the stems) are held down with glue dots. A gentle curl with my bone folder gives them lots of dimension. Then I added sequins and dots of Dazzling Details and gold jelly roll pen dots 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Reverse Words in the Air
So after I did party balloons with the Reverse Word set, I decided to do hot air balloons. The balloon is die cut using the Up & Away Thinlits and the background paper is the Salebration paper Carried Away. The Reverse Words is stamped in Mint Macaron. I’m sure you can create a prettier hot air balloon! Hugs, Fran
Straightening Up Reverse Words
Does it feel like Deja vu? This is the same card from yesterday – just straightened up and popped up. This time I fussy cut the balloons (there is a punch for balloons – I just forgot!) and used the die for the ribbons. Then the balloons are popped up with Dimensionals. Now you decide! This one –

Reverse Words Birthday
Starting on the February 21 there are 3 more Saleabration items to pick – Glimmer paper (!) and 2 stamp sets. This is one of the upcoming sets called Reverse Words. The two stamps say “hooray” and “cheers.” I paired it with Balloon Adventures to make this card. The base is Tempting Turquoise and the colors are Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango. I added some sequins and drew the lines with a marker. Hugs, Fran
Butterfly Birthday
Here we go with a trio of cards simply creaTed because I cut way too many butterflies. I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper with Peekaboo Peach, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette and then die cut some butterflies using the Butterfly Thinlits. With the leftover piece I used the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches to punch the rest. This gave me a lot of butterflies!
Using Gorgeous Grunge and Suite Sentiments, I created 3 background pieces and placed all the butterflies around the sentiment.
That’s a little strip of Glimmer paper down the left side – hard to see in the photograph! So now there are 3 cards – similar but different. Hugs, Fran
Jar of Love Fish
Little fishes wishing you a happy birthday! I stamped the background using Playful Backgrounds in Soft Sky and Marina Mist. The little fish from Jar of Love are stamped in Tangerine Tango, die cut with the matching die and popped up on the front. The balloon is from Confetti Celebration. It’s fussy cut and popped up – with the string cut above and below the sentiment. I added Crystal Effects on the open circles, stamped another background image on the strip in the middle and it’s ready to celebrate! Hugs, Fran
Little Cuties
Do you ever buy a set because of one or two images? Yep, that’s why I bought Little Cuties! The kitten and puppy are so sweet I just had to have it! Colored with Copics, I used these two together to make a simple card. I stamped the puppy and put a mask over him so I could stamp the kitten behind him. I also masked off part of the sentiment. The balloons are from Bella & Friends. Hugs, Fran
