Wahoo!

Isn’t this fun?  I honestly never thought I’d use “Wahoo” from Paper Pumpkin – except to make the cards in the kit – but it works perfectly for this little scrapbook design.  This is an 8 x 8 page of my daughter graduating from high school a few years ago.  The technique was shown in our demonstrator magazine and is done by making a starburst mask the size of your paper and stamping in the negative space.  I found that stamps that can be overlapped easily worked the best because you need a fairly solid look or you can’t see the starburst design.  Mixed Bunch is perfect for this.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Mixed Bunch, Wahoo (Paper Pumpkin)
Card stock – Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink – Pacific Point, Real Red
Etc – Brights Candy Dots

I’m actually going to use this on a 12 x 12 layout.  It will make a great focal point.  Hugs, Fran
