Soho Babe

Some old and some new – a Soho Babe!  The front of this card uses the new In Color – Crisp Cantaloupe and the Soho Subway Designer Series paper along with the lace from the Artisan Kit, natural button and ribbon and a Cute Clip.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto a piece of the Designer Series paper and added a Scallop border.  Then I used Clockworks to add some dimension to the bottom of the card.

And here she is – ready to hit the town in her retro style dress.

My youngest likes these dresses that have the lace at the bottom.  (I always tell her that her slip is showing – “Oh Mom!”)

I added a little banner with the smallest ticket punch and a bit more of the Clockworks stamp.

The collar and ruffle are some tulle, folded and gathered and attached to the back of the form.  Her purse is a 5/8″ punch with some gold thread to make the handle.

The top of the card is the Word Window punch – lined up and cut with the Edgelit.  Just attach them to a skinny strip of cardstock and then die cut.

I attached another little note that I made in My Digital Studio.  The arrow shows on both sides of the card.  Behind her is a crumpled Paper Doily – just add some more texture.

Don’t forget her necklace!
