Just a Note

From a million layers yesterday to a “flat” card today!  This note card uses the lovely background set Swallowtail.  The great thing about this stamp is that it stands alone – background and focal image!.
Supplies
Stamp Sets – Swallowtail, Four You
Cardstock – Basic Gray, Pink Piourette, Whisper White
Ink – Smokey Slate, Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Subtle Candy Dots, Dazzling Details
I couldn’t help adding a little bit of Dazzling Details to the butterfly!  We all need a little sparkle in our lives  Hugs, Fran

  1. You know what? I have been putting off and putting off getting this big stamp ever since it came out, I have resisted the lure of this big boy, I’m intimidated by it’s sheer size because I’m afraid once I have it, it will just sit there gathering dust but…..I’ve also seen amazing cards made with it, like your beautiful card today, I’ve seen partial images in all kinds of colors, I’ve seen it water colored, pencil colored, sponged, heat embossed…..so, apparently, the sky is the limit with this stamp. You are so right Fran, this image needs very little to look amazing, it looks amazing all by itself, no matter if it’s stamped whole or just a section, the detail on it is simply beautiful so, I’m going to get it, I can’t resist anymore. Once again, you have been the great enabler and I thank you!!

  2. Enabling is my calling in life!

When you get the stamp – the easiest way I’ve found to use it is to ink it up and put your card stock on top of the stamp.  Hugs, Fran
  3. Very soft and pretty!
