Well, not according to my kiddos – but according to this card! Since Lovely as a Tree is still in the new catalog and it’s been hinted that it will NEVER retire, I decided to give it some ink. I stumbled across some glossy card stock in my stash and thought I’d do a brayered card. It is a sad thing. The idea is nice – but sheesh – I need to pull that brayer out and go to a remedial brayer class.
Supplies
Stamp sets – Lovely as a Tree
Cardstock – Night of Navy, Glossy white
Ink – Jet black Stazon, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Pool Party
Etc – ribbon, brayer
Give it a whirl and let me know it you have better results. Hugs, Fran
Fran, This card is beautiful! Perfect sentiment.
Don’t be so hard on yourself…brayering is not easy, getting the color even…I am not great at it either – it looks like a winter night sky changing as the sun goes out of the sky!
Just love this card, it is beautiful and calm
