C is for Cats

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!  I really enjoyed a long weekend but am having a hard time getting started this morning. Guess I’m still in “relaxing” mode!  This is a card I did for my niece who is at camp and getting ready to perform in the musical Cats.  For obvious reasons I chose the set C is for Cats!

I masked every other cat so some of the tails would show.  By using the Melon Mambo over the Pretty in Pink it was less work!  She is a Pink and Blingy kind of girl!  Each cat has a jeweled collar –

These little jewels are from an old Easter decorating package SU did last spring!  The tags on the collars are backed in Basic Black. I even “blinged” the ribbon!

Stamp set – C is for Cat
card stock – Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink – Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black
Etc – 11/4, 1 3/8 and 1/4 circle punches, Dots embossing folder, jewels, Word Window punch, Black grosgrain ribbon

chatty note – Samantha is in Australia and having a great time! (Is it odd that I take great comfort in the fact that there are SU demos in Australia?)  Now I am getting ready for our Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking garage sale AND convention!  My stamping room looks like a tornado came through!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  1. Fran, that card is so cute! Love the pink and the bling. Just wish I had a girly girl to send it to. Also as a side note my 11 yr old son just went to Australia for 14 days. He had a blast and has so many great stories. he traveled with People to People a youth Ambassodor program. No parents allowed!

  2. Thanks for sharing, I love cats and will snag this to make later. Hugs n’ Stuff, Lynne
