Butterfly Penned

I tried the tutorial over at Splitcoast for Dry Emboss Alcohol Resist.  This technique involves dry embossing glossy paper, heat embossing the raised images, airbrushing the design and then removing the color from the raised image.  Lots of firsts-for-me here!  The butterfly is an Elizabeth Craft Design  die that is colored using Silk Microfine glitter.  Me + my cat + glitter = well, use your imagination!  I chose Perfectly Penned to set off this card because I need something large enough to balance it out.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Perfectly Penned
Cardstock – Basic Black, Whisper White, Glossy
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Copic marker, EDC Butterfly die and silhouette,  assortment of Silk Microfine glitters, Beautifully Baroque embossing folder, airbrush, ECD border stickers

Lots of fun to try – and the added benefit of sparkling all day!  Hugs, Fran
