Butterfly Heart

Inspired by Pinterest – a heart full of butterflies.  To make this card, I used the Heart Framelit – but instead of die cutting, I traced the heart shape onto my card stock very lightly.  Then I die cut lots of butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and glued them in the heart keeping them all inside the line.  The Embosslits are great because they cut and emboss in one step.  Once they are placed just erase the line.  I even gave my sentiment a rainbow feel!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Love You More
Card Stock – Whisper White, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Delightful Daffodil, Wisteria Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Heart Framelit, Beautiful Wings Embosslit

Think of all the shapes you could do with this idea!  I have lots of butterflies left over – so you might have to put up with butterflies for a few days.  Hugs, Fran

  1. Oh Fran, what a lovely, whimsical, delightful card you are showing today!!! I am lucky to own that butterfly Embosslit, it’s one of my favorites. This seems pretty easy to do so I will give it a try. Oh, and feel totally free to use the rest of the butterflies, heck!! I need to see some signs of Spring, even if it’s only on the lap top screen, sheeesh!! we have just about enough snow, freezing temperatures and, oh yes!! more snow!!! than we can possibly handle so, this beautiful card totally warms my heart.
