A Punch in the Middle

I saw this quick and cute idea in a card magazine – using a punch negative to make the focal point – and knew the Blossom punch would work for this.  It’s backed with the wonderful Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper to make it pop.

Stamp Set – Petite Pairs
card stock – Whisper White, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
Ink – Real Red
Etc – Blossoms punch, Bright button, Baker’s Twine, corner rounder

Hint – adhere the DSP to the card front and pop up the punched layer using Dimensionals.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  1. I do like that Summer Smooches. What a cute card. You’ve been very creative lately, and I’ve loved them all. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Hi Fran, I just love this card! CAS cards are a favorite of mine and especially when they are tone on tone. The pop of DSP just makes my day and helps me with a way that I can utilize that paper (which is just not my style!) You’ll get all the credit when I CASE this one! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Too sweet, love the technique and will be casing it!
Thanks for sharing with all of us.

  4. This is such a great idea! I think I’ll use it for my next stamp camp. With all the new designer paper we have, it can have any “feel” you want. Thanks for sharing. 😉
