Rub ons!

Rub ons are so easy to use and you can put them on just about anything!  Yesterday I played with a sheet from the Sale a bration  rubs ons and these are a few of things I created along with some tips on how to get the best results.  I find that stapling the backing onto the main sheet works best for me so they don’t come apart and stick to other things.

This is a candle from the dollar store.  For candles I use a stylus meant for dry embossing to apply the rub on.  I also find that cutting the image free from the main sheet works the best for me.

On glass I just used the stick that comes with the rub ons – but on the wood frame I used the stylus to apply it to the uneven surface.

Here is a ceramic Easter Egg (found at the grocery store!)  I used the stick to apply 1 1/2 of the long pieces around the middle.

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  1. Fran these are wonderful! TFS which “tools” you used. I seem to have trouble with the white ones sticking – but you have encouraged me to keep at it. TFS
