I had some scrapbook paper that I thought might make a good Karen Burniston Pop It Ups Hanging Charm Pull card. Using the new Baby Charms and the paper on the page, I made a 5 x 7 card for a new bundle of joy.
The card is flat, so I put a few more elements on the back for writing the message.

Painter’s Palette is really a fun set and it fits nicely on a notecard. The notecards are such a great size for quick cards to send to someone in your life. And they are mailable! At 3 1/2 x 5, with envelopes included, notecards make it easy to whip up a card and get it mailed. This card just uses the stamp set, some Designer Series paper and a few sequins. Wonderful! Sparkle, shake and shimmer! I saw this idea on stage at convention, done by Shelly (!) and decided to make it mine 🙂 Using Marquee Messages, I water colored the image and cut out the middle to make it a shaker. There are lot of sequins inside and some confetti from the new Sprinkles punch. A person who is thinking while creating would have stamped the greeting on the window sheet – or not. Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
It’s almost new catalog time! This is a case of a card on page 44 of the catalog. Since I didn’t have the copper thread, I used burlap. The new copper embossing powder is gorgeous! You will love the look 🙂 Hugs, Fran
While I still had all the In Colors out, I made this card. Again I used Gorgeous Grunge, but this time I add a Hello You Thinlit Thanks, Crazy About You sentiment and some rhinestones. Love these colors! Hugs, Fran
My friend Mary Ann brought me a stack of glossy card stock! So we had a little play 🙂 This is the basic resist technique – stamp the images with Versamark and brayer ink over the entire surface. Gently wipe off the excess ink and you’re done! I added a little butterfly and sentiment, die cut it out with a stitched rectangle and put it on a mat and card base. Easy – and fun! Thanks, Mary Ann! This is a case of a card on page 36 of the new catalog! Such pretty colors! I changed up the embossing folder and used the new Floral Affection folder. The doily is a gold doily – just flipped over to the white side. The colors are Wild Wasabi, Sweet Sugarplum, and Pool Party on a Crumb Cake base. Love these colors 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Here’s a 6 x 6 Shower card made with Karen Burniston’s Stage It Stencils – Rain, and Baby Charms. The Night of Navy base was cut 6 x 11 and scored at 6″. This leaves you a 1″ area at the bottom for your sentiment. The rain was done in a Micorbead Embossing paste and Wisteria Wonder ink.
