Yummy Treat Bags
I needed some treat bags so I turned to Yummy in My Tummy and the cute, fuzzy monster. To cut out the center of the bags, I used a small Big Shot Plate to cut out the circle on the bag- they are approximately 3 1/2 x 6 – and fit into small spaces. The Chevron bags are retired but there are Kraft bags in the catalog. Then I stamped and fussy cut the monsters, colored them with Copic markers and used the same circle die to cut out his tummy. I put a piece of acetate sandwiched between the monster and the bag. You can make a flag attached to a sliver of card stock and attach it with glue. I sealed the bags with washi tape. Party time! Window Shopping
I’ve been playing with the Window Shopping suite. These little boxes with all their inserts are really cute – and easy!
This one has a piece of Gold foil in the top.
On this one I made a banner (a bit large!) and did candles on the side.
I used DSP behind the candles and card stock on the flame.
While I had the stamp set out, I made a card cased from the catalog. Nice suite and one that will be useful! Hugs, Fran
Vertical Greetings
I meant to do this card in Cucumber Crush – but somehow used Emerald Envy instead! I used markers to ink up the image from Vertical Greetings using Emerald Envy, Cajun Craze (pot) and Chocolate Chip. I added some red berries using the Owl punch and a bit of Dazzling Details. It’s finished off with some Real Red twine. Hugs, Fran
Special Prayers
For this card I used the stamp set Special Reason in Calypso Coral and White Craft ink. It mutes the color a bit to give a softer look. I added lots of sparkly splatter and rhinestone and used a sentiment from Hero Arts. The background paper is from the Brights Patterns. Hugs, Fran
Special Reason
A combo of Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Cucumber Crush – using Special Reason from the Occasions Mini. This is my case of the catalog. A few changes but nothing way different. I really like this color combo 🙂 Reminds me that summer is coming up if we can ever just have spring! I hope you’ll try it! Hugs, Fran
Sitting Here
Here’s my cat, Max, waiting for you to come sit with him and give him some love! I stamped this scene from Sitting Here on watercolor paper in Stazon ink and watercolored. The cat, pillows and pot of plants are stamped separately and fussy cut.
I went around each piece with a black marker and then created the scene. The top of the card is stamped with the leaves from Sheltering Tree (you could pick any greenery you have) and is on a piece of Calypso Coral Patterned paper. The sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases. Hugs, Fran
Happy Celebrations
Sometimes we just need a cute, quick card for someone. This one uses the Celebrations Duo embossing folders. You get two of them – Celebrate and Happy – and there is a matching stamp set called Happy Celebrations, I used just the Celebrate folder, which de-bosses the paper and stamped some circles around the image in Pool Party, Island Indigo and Crushed Curry. Add some enamel dots and Bakers Twine and you’re good to go! Hugs, Fran
Time to Color
Coloring is all the rage right now and Stampin Up has it covered with the very cute Inside the Lines Designer Series paper. There are 4 different patterns – but it’s only available for one more day! We did this one at Card Club, colored it with the new Watercolor pencils, and paired it with a sentiment from Falling For You.
We added some gel pen and some Wink of Stella to create these cards but they could be left blank and sent with some colored pencils to someone who likes to color. That would be fun! Hugs, Fran
Birthday Blast
This set is Birthday Blast and it has not seen as much love as it should have. Not only is it really cute – it has a matching die:) This card is pretty much a case of the catalog done in Bermuda Bay and Pool Party. Hugs, Fran
