For this Bella card, I stenciled the background using Karen Burniston’s flower stencil using embossing paste. After watercoloring the image, I popped up the balloon and scalloped the bottom of the card. I think this is such a sweet stamp – perfect for so many things! Hugs, Fran

Simple Bella
Oh I just love this set! Here are some simple cards using some of the stamps in the Daisy Bella & Friends set. This simple card has Bella and her friend on the bottom corner with a box drawn around them. The sentiment is placed near them. Then I tried this –
I did a more doodle box around the two and placed the sentiment up in the box. Which one do you like the best? Hugs, Fran (and Daisy!)
Bella & Friends Box
Here’s Bella on a cute box! Want to know why I think she’s so cute?
She looks like Daisy!
The cute box was inspire by Claudia Christensen and it’s made with the Gift Box Punch Board! Hugs, Fran
Badges and Banners
Badges and Banners is another new set that makes sweet cards! It matches the Best Badge punch and the banner matches the Duet Banner punch. The paper is the Serene Scenery Designer Series paper. Just a simple card – but sometimes that’s what you need. Hugs, Fran
Always an Adventure
Just a warning – you may not want to take a ride on this hot air balloon! But you’ll definitely want to try this card! (and it’s fun to watch it spin!) This is Always an Adventure, the matching dies and the new Sliding Star Framelit.
The Outdoor Adventure Framelit makes this card come together quickly. The images are solid and are easy to stamp and die cut. Too much fun! Hugs, Fran
Cottage Paint
Just messing around with colors. I was trying for a more paint chip look – but here’s what happened. The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings and the Hello is covered in Crystal Effects. This was the Cottage Garden kit last year.
Glad the stamps made it to the new catalog. (Not sure they work with this card – but hey! ) Hugs, Fran
Happy Birthday USA
I hope you’re enjoying the celebration today! This little popcorn box will sparkle on my table today filled with …chocolates! I made this with the new Popcorn Box die in Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer paper. This box is tiny – smaller than a pop can – but it’s HUGE on cute! Have a safe and fun day – Hugs, Fran
Homemade Botanicals
I cased this idea from someone – and now I can’t find the person’s name…sigh. The only changes I made were the background stamp and sentiment. I didn’t have the set she used so I looked through my sets and found this one from Homemade for You! The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the soft combo of Soft Sky, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight. Hugs, Fran
Playful Palette Easel
This is my take on one of the display cards at On Stage (I think the original card was made by Beth Rush). I used the new Playful Palette Designer Series paper for the color combination. The center of the easel fits perfectly in one of the new square framelits! Think of all the fun combos you could do with the beautiful new papers! Hugs, Fran
Inky Thanks
Wow! Am I inky? I did this piece on watercolor paper and it was fun! I started on a waterproof mat and smooshed some Melon Mambo ink directly on it. Then some Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango. I sprayed it fairly heavily with water until the inks started running together and smooshed my paper into the ink several times until the paper was covered. After I dried it with my heat gun, I sprayed it again with a mister filled with water and let the little droplets form on the ink. Once that dried, I splattered black ink over part of it! Then I embossed the sentiment from Suite Sayings onto the center and embellished with some adhesive dots. My hands were ver colorful all day – but it was fun! Hugs, Fran
