Mosaic Madness 05

This catalog case is from page 163.  I stuck to the card shown with just a few exceptions.  First of all, I embossed the Shimmery White card stock backwards.  I’d like to say I did it on purpose, but….well….you know how it goes!  So I just went with it.  The funniest part of this story is that my embossing folder had been used repeatedly with Versamark and glitter – which wasn’t completely cleaned off – so it left a beautiful soft glitter/sparkle all over the front of the card!  Love it when that happens!!

What are the differences between May 30th and May 31st?  Today (5/30) is the last day to get an extra $30 in products when you join the fun at Stampin Up!  The regular starter kit is $99 for $125 of product – and today is the last day to get $155 in product! 

Tomorrow from noon MT to midnight MT you can actually shop from all 3 available catalogs – 2012-13, Spring Mini and the new 2013-14 PLUS the retiring list!  It’s like a 12 hour bonanza! 

Something new –

This is a combo of 3 different ideas.  The layout of the tiles was cased from a card on Stampin Connections (SU demo site), the colors are a combo I did last week and liked and Shelli showed the idea of using a sentiment in the punch.  (It takes a village!)

Baked Brown Sugar and Pool Party – very pretty together!  This card showcases the new Mosaic Madness, matching punch and embossing folder.  The sentiment is Perfectly Penned. 

I die cut the Whisper White using the Oval Accent die and embossing it with the Mosaic embossing folder.  Then the images were stamped, punched and placed on the embossing folder spaces.  I added some Pool Party accents with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty punch pack.

This sneak peek is a combo of two designs in the new catalog using Mosaic Madness and the coordinating punch   I also used the new background folder – Modern Mosaic.  The pink is Strawberry Slush – a new In Color.  I think it’s going to be a favorite!
