It’s a mix of Quatrefancy Designer Series paper and Paper Pumpkin – just showing off colors.  Dawn McVey showed this style card and I decided it was the perfect way to use all the amazing colors that are in the Mosaic Madness suite.  I cut my strips at !/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1 1/2.  (Wouldn’t this be a great way to use up scraps?)

I finished it with 2 Candy Dots.  I have a feeling these will easily become my favorite embellishment!

cardstock – Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, Quatrefancy DSP
Ink – Jet Black Stazon, Pumpkin Pie
Etc – Scallop Edge punch, Brights Candy Dots

It’s been a long time since I’ve played with a challenge on Splitcoast – forgot how much I enjoy doing that!  This card is for the Featured Stamper challenge (FS316)  StampinAndrea’s gallery was featured and it’s full of sweet clean and simple cards.  I chose this one and really just cased it using the supplies I had on hand!  To make Summer Starfruit baker’s twine, I pressed and pulled it over my pad, spritzed it with water and let it dry. 

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Mixed Bunch, Hey There (included in Paper Pumpkins!)
card stock – Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink – Summer Starfruit, Versamark
Etc – Blossoms punch, Dahlias, Baker’s Twine, Spritzer with Early Espresso Stampin Write Marker, corner rounder, white embossing powder

It’s kind of nice to use summer colors on this dark and dreary day.  Hugs, Fran
