Flying Easel

This weekend I realized that I haven’t shared this case of the Flying Easel card that Karen Burniston showed on her blog.  It uses the exclusive SU Pop N Cuts base and the Deco Label Framelits.

This is my version – and Karen has lots of other “looks” for this style.

Supplies
Stamp Sets- Hello Lovely, Music Note wheel
Card stock – Sweater Weather DSP, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Natural Composition Specialty paper
Ink – Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry
Etc – SU Pop N Cuts base and Deco Label Framelits, Butterfly Wings Embosslit, Washi Tape, Gesso, fishing line, bead, Crushed Curry Chevron ribbon

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Convention Projects

A few projects – Make and Takes and Mini Projects from convention.  I didn’t finish mine there so I am doing them at home.  The first is a topper for the Tag a Bag Gift Box using Hello, Lovely.  The feathers on mine look a little round – it was a fat bird!

Then there’s a sweet little muslin bag that will be available starting August 1 in the Holiday Mini.  It’s stamped with 2 new fall sets – Magnificent Maple and Thankful For and tied with Chevron Ribbon.

And this uses the Tag a Bag bag and Accessory kit.  The stamp set is Tag It (130300/130303) This is the new Ronald McDonald set.  Stampin Up donates $3 from each set to this awesome charity.

To make the bag stand up, score 1 inch from each long side and 1 1/4 inch across the bottom.  Then just fold the bottom in and add a piece of cardboard to the bottom to give it more strength.  These will make great party favor bags!

So that’s some of what we did at convention!  Hugs, Fran

Hello, Lovely Coral

My favorite catalog sample is on page 3 using Hello, Lovely – so I cased it   I used a notecard to make the base.  The notecards are so easy to use!  Stamp the background in Crisp Cantaloupe (Dictionary background stamp) and then make a Polaroid frame out of Calypso Coral – using the Square Framelits to die cut the inside piece.  I stamped the Hello, Lovely sentiment on Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and punched the butterfly from a piece of I Am Me Designer Series paper.  Since I didn’t have any buttons that matched, I made a Crisp Cantaloupe rose using the Clay molds.

Stamp Sets – Hello, Lovely,  Dictionary
Card stock – Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe
Ink – Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral
Etc – Clay rose, Hardware Clips Essentials, Square Framelits

We will make this one in stamp club this month!  Hugs, Fran
