Petite Pocket Box

You can use the Petite Pocket die to make a cute little box!

You will need 4 Petite Pockets and 2 of the closure circles.  One each Petite Pocket, cut off one side tab and all but one inch from the bottom flap –

Adhere all the piece together by attaching them at the flaps –

Then you attach the last flap to the cut side, fold in the bottom and you have a box!  Put the two closure circles on two opposite top flaps and use your Crop a Dile to punch.  Tie with a ribbon –

All of these are decorated with one of the circles from the Perfect Pennant die.  The scallop designs matches the scallop design on the Scallop Trim punch!  I’ve also used a frame from Frame It to decorate the centers.  Around the bottoms I’ve wrapped the scallop trim pieces from Tasteful Trim Big Shot die.

I hope you’ll try this box and let me know how it works for you! Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Frame It

These two cards feature the Frame It stamp set (w -122850/ c -122852).  On the first one I brayered the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder with Vanilla Craft ink to create the shading on the Soft Suede card stock.  Stamp and cut out the frame – stamp the chair and punch out with the Decorative Label punch – and you have a cute focal point for your card.  The DSP is First Edition brayered with Soft Suede (gotta love that paper!)

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Frame It, Have a Seat
card stock – Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette
Ink – Vanilla Craft, Soft Suede, Early Espresso
Stampin Write Marker – Crumb Cake
Etc – Decorative Label Punch, Large Oval punch, Scallop border punch, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder

Then I used the same frame with Elements of Style.

Stamp the large floral image on Very Vanilla and color the flowers with Pink Pirouette.  Stamp the frame on Pink Pirouette and cut out.  I used the floral image from clearly for you to stamp in Pink Pirouette on Very Vanilla and stamped Best Wishes (Sincere Salutations) over it with Early Espresso.  Cut it out and layer it inside the frame. See the Victorian lace ribbon?  Told you I had lots of it!

Didn’t Make the Cut

This week I’m going to share with you some of the projects that didn’t make the cut to be taken to convention.  The first is a frame using several new sets – Frame It and Letter It.  I’m taking some other large items and this one just can’t go.

The frame around the picture is stamped in Jet Black Stazon and is just two corners- meaning the frame is square, I just used two corners!  The lattice is the Lattice die.

The frame was painted with white acrylic paint tinted with Marina Mist reinker and then sanded. The letters are popped up with Dimensionals. So now I have a frame with a cute pic of my youngest!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Letter It, Frame It
card stock – Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Ink – Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Jet black Stazon
Etc – Big Shot Lattice die and Square Lattice embossing folder, Fancy Flower punch, glue gun

I have tons and tons of stuff to do today!  The garage sale went great – but it has put me a bit behind getting ready to leave for convention!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
