Goodbye Established Elegance

There are actually 3 of my favorite sets retiring in this card – Established Elegance, Elements of Style and Netting!  Seriously, are they allowed to do this to me?  Oh well – I’m sure I’ll find some new favorites, but I’m really, really going to miss these sets!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Established Elegance, Elements of Style, Netting, Perfect Words
Card stock – Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Beau Chateau DSP
Ink – Crumb Cake, SOft Suede, Early Espresso
Stampin Write Markers – Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette
Etc – Toe Note Die, pearls, Itty Bitty flower punch, pearls, Quilted Early Espresso ribbon

Do you have a “Go To” set retiring or something you’re really going to miss?  Tell me I’m not alone!  Hugs, Fran

Ballerina Party Girl

I redid some Dress Form Ballerina Party Girl stands as place holders for birthday parties.  They are very fun to do – a bit addicting to be honest

I managed to find some large spools, painted them and added Designer Series Paper.  (no need to add weights to these!)

Using a Sizzix Fancy Frame and the You Rule set from the Spring Mini – I made the birthday girl a special one.  (Aren’t all birthday girls princesses?)

On the dress form I stamped the floral image in Established Elegance and colored it with Stampin Write Markers.  Then I added two roses from the Artisan Kit.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – You Rule, Established Elegance
Card stock – Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette DSP, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Silver Glimmer paper
Ink – Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Etc – Pink Piroutte SWM, Tulle, Artisan Kit, spool, skewer

Just a little note – I have been using about 20 pieces of tulle to get my skirts really fluffy.  The link to video for the skirt is here.

Hugs, Fran

Another Cast Off

I still had a few pieces left over from Established Elegance so I put what I had left to use and created this –

You can kind of see inside – I had a scrap of the Beau Chateau DSP  left so I put it on the inside since I only had one Top Die stamped.  And that uses up my scraps!  The supplies are the same with the exception of the base – it’s Pink Pirouette.  Easiest card in the world since all the stamping was already finished!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Masculine Elegance

Before you put away Established Elegance – here’s a masculine card to try.  Since it was still out on my desk, I decided to give it a completely different look from yesterday’s card.

The card size is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 and uses the Well Worn DSP.  Again I used the Netting background stamp and this time paired it with French Script.  (Though “script” doesn’t really go with “type” – just “sort of” goes!)

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Established Elegance, Netting, French Script, Calendar alphabet
card stock – Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy, Well Worn DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink- Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black
Stampin Write Marker – Cajun Craze
Etc – Small and large tag punches, 3 1/3 circle die, mini library clip, Antique trinket, Striped embossing folder, spritzer

This morning starts my Christmas card Stamp a Stacks!  It’s cold and rainy so it’s a great day to stay inside and stamp.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Established Elegance

Established Elegance is a beautiful, vintage styled set.  It has been on my wish list since the new catalog came out – and I just got it!  I needed a card for someone very special and this is what I made –

Since I can never seem to stick to just one set (sheesh!) this card also uses Netting background, Elements of Style and Perfect Words.  I “spritzed” it with Pretty in Pink – can you see it?
