A Fitting Occasion

I need some treats for my youngest sorority dinner (a lot of treats, actually) so I came up with this – a sucker holder.  This little treat box is easy to make.  Cut your paper (Soft Sky) 2 x 11 and score at 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 1/2 and 8 1/2,

Fold it up as shown.  Before you adhere the top together, punch a small hole for the sucker stick to go through.  I used a Crop a dile and it lined up perfectly.  Adhere the top two pieces together and punch it with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Insert the sucker through the side and tie a ribbon to the stick (midnight Muse.)

The front is a 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 piece of Midnight Muse with a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of Whisper White, stamped in Soft Sky using the circle design from Bright Blossoms.  I stamped the images from A Fitting Occasion on Whisper White and punched it out with a 1″ circle punch and matted it with a 1 1/4″ circle punch.  Done!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – A Fitting Occasion, Bright Blossoms
Card stock – Soft Sky, Midnight Muse, Whisper White
Ink – Soft Sky, Midnight Muse
Etc – Scalloped Tag Topper, 1″ and 1 1/4″ Circle punches, Midnight Muse ribbon

So now to see if this meets my daughter’s expectations   Hugs, Fran

Little Clay Flowers

A little tag – so cute – sprouting a clay flower!  This is one of the make and takes we did at my open house last week.  The tag is 2 1/2 x 3 (2 1/12 x 6 scored at 3) run through the Big Shot with the Dotted embossing folder.  The vase is in Pool Party and Wild Wasabi and the clay flower is Crisp Cantaloupe.  I took a piece of clay and formed it into a cup – added a few drops of reinkers – and stuck the whole thing into a baggie.  This kept my hands clean and also helped stored the left over clay.  Fun!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Bright Blossoms
card stock – Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White
Stampin Write Markers – Pool Party, Wild Wasabi
Etc – Oval punch, Dotted embossing folder, clay and clay mold (Crisp Cantaloupe reinker)

Hope you had a nice long weekend- we did!  The weather even cooperated   Hugs, Fran

Totally Wrong

Slap my forehead – this is totally wrong!  And to make it worse, it was a swap card!  I used Pacific Point with a DSP that has Island Indigo in it – no Pacific Point anywhere.  sigh……
I imagine if you’d change the card stock base, this would be kind of cute.
