Another Bravo Bag

Bravo 04

Here’s another gift bag made with the new Gift Bag Punch Board and the Bravo stamp set.  This bag is tall (large score line, 12 x 12) and uses the retiring Back to Black DSP with some Glimmer paper.  The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo.  The large banner is made with the Banner Framelits – the small was just snipped.   There is a new black and white DSP coming, but I”m going to miss this one!  Just a few days left until the new catty!!  Hugs, Fran

Party Bag

Bravo 03

There’s a new Punch Board – Gift Bags!  It makes all kinds of cute bags for gift giving.  This on uses the new Bohemian Designer Series paper and the stamp set Bravo.  The colors in this DSP are Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla.  I opted to use a tie in the middle (tied with Blackberry Bliss ribbon – retiring!)   This board is easy to use (yea!) and makes lots of different sizes.  Coming VERY SOON!  Hugs, Fran

Bravo Bokeh

Bravo 01

I saw a “new to me” technique called Bokeh and gave it a try.  The instructions called for paint on watercolor paper so I tried it with reinkers.  Wet your watercolor paper and use an aqua painter to apply reinkers all over the piece.  In this one I use Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Crushed Curry.  Dry with a heat gun.  Stamp your sentiment in Stazon. Punch some circles from a piece of acetate and use them as a stencil to make White Craft ink circles all over the finished front, Each one is different!

Bravo 02

Bravo is a great set for this technique because the words really stand out.

Supplies

Stamp Set – Bravo

Card stock – Watercolor paper, Whisper White

Ink – Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Crushed Curry ( Island Indigo, Pool Party, So Saffron) White Craft ink

Etc – sequins

It’s always fun to try something new!  Hugs, Fran

Beautiful Bunch 02

Home from convention!  We had such a great time!  This was one of my convention swaps made with Beautiful Bunch and Bravo.  Both of these sets are photopolymer which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.  They are completely clear and stick like crazy to the acrylic blocks.  The card went through a few “redos” and I thought I’d show you how it started out –

Beautiful Bunch 01

Looks like a different color in this photo (!) but it’s still Daffodil Delight.  I decided to cut down the Whisper White and make it a bit more compact.

Supplies

Stamp Sets = Beautiful Bunch, Bravo, Gorgeous Grunge

Card stock – Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz

Ink – Daffodil Delight, Jet Black Stazon

Back to convention – so much fun!  We got a hands on looks at the upcoming Holiday Mini and all the beautiful new product coming soon!  I also got to see great friends – and meet many more – all while stamping!  What more in life do you want?  Hugs, Fran
