Some of my favorites are retiring soon and one is Apothecary Art. With it’s matching framelits, this set is a “go-to” for Sympathy, Thank You and Birthday cards. Thought I’d share some cards I’ve done over the years with this set – sort of a Throwback Thursday!

This is the (retired) Attic Boutique DSP with a Soft Sued background and block. (And some cute pictures of my youngest!)
The top left square used the Pennant Punch, Blossom Party die and Beautiful Wings embosslit. The sewing was done on the block.
Down the center is the Lace Ribbon punch (retired) and some butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies die. The heart at the top of the page pulls up for the journaling.
Apothecary Art and Family Reunion make up the title – die cut with the Labels Collection Framelit. The rose is a circle that is cut in a spiral and wrapped like a rose. The heart is 5 heart punches stacked together to create some depth. Missing those heart trinkets! Lots of fun! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

This is one of the cards that I gave my daughter for her birthday. She had a beautiful cake with big purple bow on it – and this was to go with that idea.

You might get tired of this card layout before I’m done. Maybe that’s why it’s featured in the Occasions Mini! So here it is again in Baja Breeze –
I used Dazzling Details on some of the flowers – not sure you can see it in the photo, but it’s there! I also want to add that at first I didn’t really like Dazzling Details. It seems to smear and not be very sparkly. I have totally changed my mind – because I finally shook the bottle up a bit! Now it’s even, sparkly, and on about every other project I’m doing!

This is the card I did for my mom’s birthday. Not only is it a birthday card – it’s a sneak peek of products in the upcoming Occasions Mini. A double duty card! The design is based on the card shown in the mini catalog.

The Dazzling Details was used on the roses – just a touch. Because the Hat Pin was so close to the edge cut with the Edgelit die, I put a drop of Crystal Effects on the point. Didn’t want my mom to get stuck opening her birthday card! There is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful pleated ribbon in the mini but not in Poppy parade. So I used glue dots to make my own. I’m wishing for this ribbon in every color – it’s just beautiful! (I think I said that!) So my mom’s birthday card ended up being the perfect time to try lots of the goodies in the Occasions mini!
