Retirement List

It’s here!  The Retirement List for the Fall/Winter catalog!  Click here to view the list– then get busy making your list and checking it twice – because these sets are going, going, gone on December 30th!

Don’t forget that the Retiring Accessories list comes out December 10th.  The things on this list will only be available while they last!

On another note – after three frustrating weeks, my computer is back.  But there are still problems (can you believe this???)  This weekend will be spent reloading software and files – and then HOPEFULLY I’ll be back to posting!  Thanks for patience and good humor while I’ve dealt with this!  Look for some new projects and posts this weekend!  Keep your fingers crossed!  Hugs, Fran

Star box

pattern here – that I cut down to make shorter.  I used Very Vanilla as the background card stock and covered it with the Dashing Designer Series Paper.  The tag is Real Red punched with the scallop punch, some more Dashing and the circle from Circle of Friends.  The Real Red grosgrain is tied to the box and I used a piece of gold cord to tie the tag to the ribbon.  And after all that – it’s still too tall! So it’s back to the drawing board for this one!  But just know that I kept all the dimensions the same except the height.  So if you’d like to try to make a smaller one with me – just cut down the height and play along!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Peek-A-Boo Box

/images/13396-12848/Leadership_samples_003.JPG” width=400 border=0>

Isn’t this little box cute?  It’s a Peek-A-Boo Box and is just the right size for a table favor to fill with mints or a few chocolate.  I made the box with Soft Sky card stock and stamped the snowflake from Cold Play in Blue Bayou.  The Cold Play snowman was stamped in Basic Gray (with an Only Orange nose) and his hat has little Purely Pomegranate Three For You flower on top.  He’s layered on a Purely Pomegranate circle and a Blue Bayou scallop punch.  The inside has the Christmas sentiment from Circle of Friendship stamped in Blue Bayou and Purely Pomegranate.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

It’s Spooky Around Here!

We spent the evening making slider gum cover and slider candy bar holder!  The gum covers are a piece of 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 card stock score at 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 3″, 5″ and 5 1/2″.

Frank was inspired by this altered altoid tin! (and this is how it all started int he first place!)

Then came the mummy!

This is a pretty silly looking witch…..

Samantha really wanted a werewolf (yes, that’s what it’s suppose to be!)

And she also wanted a vampire!

The candy bar covers are a piece 3 1/2 x 4, score at 1 3/4 and 3 1/2.  Stamp the faces from Carved and Candlelit and draw the lines with a Stampin Write Marker.

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Reindeer Food

I love these little packages of Reindeer food!  My children are too old for them now – but they humor me on Christmas Eve and play along!  We do enjoy handing them out to our friends during the month of December so I like to have plenty of them on hand.  The Real Red card stock is 3  x 5 1/2  – then fold in half.  Cut the Wild  Wasabi 2 3/4 x 5 and score at 2 1/4 – then use the slit punch to put a slit in the long edge to create a tab to hold the flap shut.  Stamp the reindeer on a piece of scrap and punch out with the small tag punch and layer on a large tag punch in Real Red.  Color with Stampin’ Write Markers. Layer on a piece of Whisper White and adhere to the front.  Print the poem and attach to the inside of the card.

Fill the small flat cello bag with oats and glitter and staple to the inside of the Real Red.  Use Mini glue dots to hold the topper shut.  On Christmas Eve take the bag outside and sprinkle on your doorstep or lawn – the reindeer LOVE it!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Calendar Class

click here and then click on Special Projects/Calendars.  (One of these days I’ll figure out why I can’t link you there directly!)  These calendars make wonderful gifts – fill them with pictures of your kids and give them to the grandparents, make them up with family pictures and display them at home or leave them blank for the recipient to fill!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
