This card is my take on one shown at a demo event using the new set Lilypad Lake and the coordinating die set, Lakeside Framelits. I used one of the dies to create the wavy background and adhered it to some glimmer paper.
The other images were stamped, colored with Stampin Blends and die cut. A small piece of linen thread pulls it all together. I added some little dots of Glossy Accents to add some interest. This set and die will be available on June 1! Hugs, Fran
This was the make and take at OnStage in April using the new Rooted in Nature set that will be available in the new catalog. The set is huge and has a matching die set and lots of different accessories that coordinate with it. The Designer paper is absolutely gorgeous! I’m sure it will be a favorite! Hugs, Fran
Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely women out there that hold special places in a child’s life! Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of a new stamp set called Abstract Impressions. I started with a Petal Pink base that has been embossed with a die from Springtime Impressions which coordinates with Abstract Impressions. Instead of cutting the image, I used an embossing pad to simply make an impression. The flowers are in Petal Pink and Calypso Coral and the grass is in Soft Sea Foam and Shade Spruce. The sentiment is die cut with a die from Lily pad Lake. (You will use just the one piece a lot!) Check back June 1 when these dies are available for purchase. Enjoy your day! Hugs, Fran
This set is called Serene Garden and it will be available starting June 1st. I love the way this set is drawn! It also comes with a coordinating die set that not only cuts out the images but has other decorator pieces. I did this card with Stampin Blends.
The flowers are popped up and then I colored and die cut them again so I could trim out just the bottoms and pop them up. And shimmer pen – always shimmer pen! Love the look of this one. Check back on June first for links to this set. Hugs, Fran
Stampin Up comes out with a new catalog in June and here is a sneak peek of one of the new stamp sets – Animal Outings. It has some super cute animals and sentiment to go with them. And when the catalog goes live, it will have dies to match 🙂 I played around with it and came up with some stacked framed cards.
The giraffe is held in place between the layers of the frame. The images are colored with Stampin Blends and the sky was done with a sponge dauber.
The kangaroo and koala sit on the outside of the frame.
For the hippo, the sentiment is on a separate piece of paper and mounted on top of the frame. The triangle background on this one was cut in the opposite direction. (Would you believe me if I said I meant to do that! – oh well!)

It’s almost new catalog time! This is a case of a card on page 44 of the catalog. Since I didn’t have the copper thread, I used burlap. The new copper embossing powder is gorgeous! You will love the look 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Nothings says “Thank You” like a golden pineapple! This wonderful background stamp was stamped in Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. The gold sequin are a fun embellishment.
The card stock is the Shimmery White card stock paired with Gold Foil. Again, I stamped the sentiment on vellum. (I’m seeing a pattern here!) Hugs, Fran
This is a case of the Painter’s Palette card on page 119 on the new catalog. I used Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach inks with Playful Palette Designer Series paper. Isn’t the vellum strip so pretty behind the easel? I love how it softens the Sweet Sugarplum DSP. This is a design I will use over and over! Hugs, Fran
Gift of Love is a new hostess set – a 2-step stamp and it’s so pretty! I used the Watercolor Wash background stamp along with Gorgeous Grunge. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and the flower is stamped in Pear Pizzazz and Flirty Flamingo. Those new Adhesive strips made it so easy to pop up the flower 🙂 Hugs, Fran

Stamped in Stazon on watercolor paper and watercolored with an aqua painter and ink – it’s a catalog case of the new set Marquee Messages. An easy background on the base of the card, I simply stamped in Crumb Cake with Crumb Cake ink. Add a little washi tape – and you’ve got a great card! I bet you can’t wait to get this set!
