I want to share some cards that were made by two of my friends on my team. The first one was made by Anne Van Willigen.
She used Furry Folks and Pocketful of Posies DSP! (retiring!) The next card was made by Martha Hahn.
She used Happiest Birthday Wishes and Twitterpatted DSP. (Also retiring!) Aren’t these great cards?
Here it is – the Retiring Stamp Sets! Accessories and Decor Elements will be posted April 25th. I’ll be back later today with the Blog Candy winners. Hugs, Fran

Going, Going…Gone!
Here it is – the
Sorry to leave you hanging – I went on Spring Break and my laptop died. I decided to go to the beach and worry about it when I got home! So to make up for such a lengthy absence, let’s play a game! The retiring list comes out April 15th – so from now until 9pm (EST) on April 14th you have a chance to win one of 3 prizes by guessing which stamp sets will be retired. Leave your Top Ten list in the comment section of this blog post and you might win – Really – I’m finishing up a little not card and chatting on the phone (dangerous combination) when I suddenly slice way too much off my little image for my card! What to do but continue on as if this was my original idea… Here’s another card I’ve made for convention swapping. I love Aviary and am so glad it made it into the new catty. This card just makes me happy – I have made a few of these to swap at convention. Actually, I’m waiting for some more red brads to show up here so I can finish them – but I thought I’d share what I’m doing. This card uses Artistic Etchings. It’s a simple black, white and red card – I saw a card using the resist technique and decided to pull out my embossing powder and inks. I’ll just show you what I did- even though I know I have should have chosen a different background paper. You’ll see why – One thing about getting ready for our annual Rubber Stamping and Scrapbooking Garage Sale is that I find all sorts of treasures! (And this year I’m digging deep!) So when I pulled out a package of one of my all time favorite DSP – Parisian Breeze – I had to stop and create something. Something old – something new – new In Colors! Last year I made a gift set using Funky Four and the then new In Colors so I decided to remake it using the new colors. I love everything about this set except the little golf pencils! I am working on redoing the box so it holds a larger size. Here’s the one I did last year – Retiring List Blog Candy

I used Stazon to stamp the cages because I used the Stamp a Ma Jig to place them and didn’t want ANY smearing. I usually try to use my SAMJ from the right to the left so I’m not dragging it over something already stamped. But for this card I started with the cage in the middle to get the spacing correct.
Waving goodbye to Simple Birthday Thanks (it’s been added to the retiring list)

Samantha leaves on Thursday for Australia! We are still doing a few last minute things to get her ready to go. It doesn’t matter how well we plan, there are always last minute things to do. Then I can hit the ground running for convention! This weekend I continued to tear my stamp room apart, rearrange, pull out for our garage sale – and generally make a huge mess! I love new catalog time!
Waving goodbye to Greetings, Earthling!

To do this you stamp your sentiment first. Then stamp in Versamark and emboss with clear embossing powder. Wipe, rub or sponge ink over the embossed area – wipe off the excess. I’ll just go ahead and say right here – do not use pink tones behind green unless you want a muddy brown look!
You will do a better job than I – I’m sure! I’ll have to play around with this design after I finish my Going, Going, Gone stamp camp and convention projects.
Wave goodbye to Party Hearty!

I used the new Perfect Pennant Big Shot die to make this – and even had a Perfect Place to hang it in my office! The die cut alphabet is Timeless Type. The beautiful scallops are a part of the die.
I added some First Edition DSP scalloped circle flowers as an accent –
How long do you think it will take me to finish cleaning out my “stuff” if I keep stopping to make things?
