This design is on page 28 – but I used the set – Wicked Cool. That’s a black licorice Twizzler in the cello bag and it fits perfectly. Can you imagine what the store thought as I was searching for Halloween candy in June? (It will probably be on the shelves next week – LOL!) These are easy and will be cute to give out or use as table decorations. Wouldn’t they be cute and place cards at a Halloween party?
Are you tired of all the Casing the Catalog yet? In the “background” I’m working on swaps for convention! Not a lot of brain power left! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
Too cute to spook! Here’s my Halloween version of the same card I’ve been sharing this week.
Stamp Set – Bootiful Occasions
card stock – Whisper White, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Regals Pattern Pack (Rich Razzleberry)
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Etc – Spider Web embossing folder, Scallop Border and Ticket corner punch, Tangerine Tango dotted ribbon, Brights Glimmer brad (Rich Razzleberry) Crystal Effects
I added Crystal Effects to the dots to give it some dimension –
Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
The last of the Halloween treat holders! This is the Petal Cone die done up with Out on a Limb –
Wow! That picture is blurry! How did that happen? Here’s a close up –
You can see that I added the “moon” but it didn’t quite fit. I’m thinking the kids won’t care! Those are rhinestones on the cat eye – what was I doing when I photograph this? The DSP is retired (I am swamped in retired DSP!) And if I don’t use up all the current DSP I have – I’ll be swamped in it too!
Supplies
Stamp set – Out on a Limb
card stock – Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White,
Ink – Basic Black
Etc – retired DSP, rhinestones, Petal Cone die, Pumpkin Pie ribbon (retired)
Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Pick Your Poison Designer Series paper has some great designs for 3-D items. The images are large and- in this case – are almost all you need to create your project. I made a double milk carton box (die cut two milk cartons, remove on section that does not have a flap from each die cut, and adhere together) and covered it with the Trick or Treat piece of DSP.
The tag is punch with the Designer Label punch from the DSP –
I added a few rhinestones just for fun and then distressed the edges.
I was able to get 6 of these finished in about an hour – Samantha’s party is Saturday and I’m running out of time! Glad these were easy! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
Do you still need a few Halloween ideas? How about Got Treats on a Milk Carton?
Die cut the Milk Carton and then run it through the Big Shot with the Dotted embossing folder. (You want to die cut before embossing.) The pumpkin is stamped twice and layered to make him pop. Mine is held together at the top with a mini library clip. No doubt these will be torn apart to get at the candy – but I tried!
Supplies
Stamp Set – Got Treats
card stock – Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stampin Write Markers – Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Etc – Dotted embossing folder, Milk Carton die, mini library clip, Old Olive 1/8 ribbon
***My post yesterday about my Sweets for the Sweet Christmas card class has a partially wrong date! The class is on Thursday, December 1st at 10 or 7! Sorry for the confusion!
This little card was inspired by a swap I received at convention from Latisha Dinkel. I kept the layout and just added some Designer Series paper and changed the colors.
Supplies
Stamp set – Wicked Cool
card stock – Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Pick Your Poison DSP
Ink – Basic Black, Basic Gray
Stampin Write Marker – Pumpkin Pie
Etc – Web embossing folder, 1 and 3/4 circle punches, rhinestones
It’s rainy and cold here today – good thing I’ll be inside bagging projects! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
