Time to Celebrate is one of the hostess choices in the Occasions Mini catalog. A friend of mine and I love these images and she “challenged” me to make something with them. I did some very clean and simple cards – simply stamping the images in Momento Tux Black ink and coloring them Blendabilities. The only addition are some Candy Dots in the corner.

Here’s my take on Sheltering Tree from the Occasions Mini. Instead of embossing, I added Dazzling Details. This is such a great set! I used Soft Sky and Early Espresso inks for the winter scene. This is one of the cards we made at Card Club yesterday.

This Saleabration set is called Big Day. I made up the sample shown in the mini with a change or two to make it my own. Colored with Blendabilities, it’s a sparkling wish for a happy birthday. My brother recently had a birthday and this is the card I made for him using the upcoming set Cheerful Critters. I colored the images using Blendabilities and fussy cut them out. On the middle banner I stamped a sentiment from Something to Say. On the inside I used the Happy Birthday Pop It Up from Karen Burniston and spelled out his name with SU’s Little Letters. The DSP is coming up in the Occasions Mini – Birthday Bash Specialty DSP.

Happy New Year everyone! Today’s card uses the Photopolymer stamp Bombs Away Birthday This set can only be found under the Photopolymer link on the web site – but it’s worth the search! It’s hard to tell in the photo but the fringe on the side is cut from Silver foil paper and really shines!
The base is Whisper White with Silver dot Vellum over the top. Then I added some In Color sequins. The ribbon was the White Satin ribbon – colored with the lightest Coastal Cabana Blendabilities marker. To make the record, I punched a 2 1/2″ circle and then traced several Circle Framelits to make the “grooves.”

Happy New Years eve! This little card is done on a notecard ( 5 x 3 1/2) which makes the assembly very easy. I used a new set from the upcoming Occasions Mini called You Plus Me and some non-tradional Valentine colors – Crisp Cantaloupe and Baked Brown Sugar. My favorite part was sprinkling the little In Color sequins across the front. The washi tape is from Sweet Sadie. Love, love, love this little bird in the Saleabration set – A Happy Thing! I used Blendies to color him, cut him out, and set me on the Hardwood background. The design is the same as this card. Hope you’re enjoying the Holidays – I am! But I’m glad to get back in my craft room too! Hugs, Fran

This beautiful set is called Indescribable Gift. I stamped the flower twice and colored the background and flower using Blendabilities. The ribbon goes through a slit in the front, cut with a craft knife.
Then I fussy cut the flowers and popped them up and added some Dazzling Details.

Time for a sneak peek! This is From the Herd – a set coming out in the Occasions Mini starting January 6th! (Can you believe we’re talking about a new year?) This fun set has a main image and lots of cute, cute sayings. I chose to make a window card with the Oval Framelits so the animals could peek through. The Crumb Cake card stock was stamped with the Hardwood background stamp. I used a ruler to draw lines and add “nails.”
Since the image is large, I added the inside greeting to the opposite side of the front greeting. The animals were colored with Blendabilities – there are new colors in the catalog!!
