This card is made with Hero Arts Window on Love Confetti background die that I paper pieced using Real Red, Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo. The gold sentiment, border and hearts are the new Painted Love Gold vinyl stickers from Stampin Up! I simply pressed them over the background die.
And I added some Glossy Accents on the Love and the hearts (couldn’t resist!) Such fun! Hugs, Fran
Brushos are a new product offering for Stampin Up. They are a crystal watercolor powder that you paint or shake out of little containers onto watercolor paper. Of course there are lots of techniques for this product but I’ll show you 3 ways to get you started. I am using the Beautiful Day stamp set from the Occasion catalog and Amazing You from the Saleabration catalog.
For this first card I stamped the image with Black Archival ink onto watercolor paper. I lightly misted the paper and sprinkled on some Prussian Blue and Yellow Brusho. Then I misted the paper some more until the colors began to blend.
On this card I heat embossed the butterfly with white embossing powder, filled the areas of the butterfly with water and sprinkled on the Gamboge and Yellow Brusho. Once it dried I brushed off any powder that was outside of the embossed image and then misted the watercolor paper and used the Prussian Blue and Yellow Brushos around it.
For this card I stamped the butterfly in Bermuda Bay and then misted the card stock with water. This caused the butterfly to bleed. While it was wet I added the Yellow Brusho. Once the entire piece was dry, I revamped the butterfly. All the cards were finished with some sequins and the Tutti-Frutti DSP. I encourage you to try this product but be warned – it’s very addicting! Hugs, Fran
We are going to need Valentines very soon! This one is made with the Sure Do Love You stamp set and the Lots of Love Box Framelits that match. The Designer Series paper is Painted with Love and the bottom scallop is from the Colorful Seasons dies. All of the hearts are popped up with 3 card stock hearts underneath them. The first heart has a Calypso Coral bow tied with the Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon that is free during Saleabration. The entire thing is finished off with a skinny strip of Gold Foil. Hugs, Fran
Are you thinking “Valentines” yet? The Sure Do Love You set in the Occasions catalog is perfect for making some quick, but pretty, Valentines. I paired the set with the Painted with Love Specialty paper to make this card. The base is Melon Mambo ( 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 for a top fold card.) The front is Powder Pink and the Painted with Love paper. The little layered squared is Powder Pink and Calypso Coral, die with the Layering Squares framelits. The ribbon is from Saleabration! This card is a re-imagining of this card with some color added! I embossed the Calypso Coral piece using the Petal Burst embossing folder, stamped the flower in Coral and heat embossed a gold greeting. Gold sequins were added to finish it off. It’s an easy card with a nice presentation. Hugs, Fran
The Paper Pros challenge this month is Tags! I made this card using the Karen Burniston Tag Book die and Stampin Bella’s Skating Quartet and Winter Backdrop. I colored all the little pieces with my Copic markers and die cut them out. The background was stamped onto the tag and colored with Copics. I used Simple White Nuvo Drops to create the falling snow and the snow on the trees. The skating rink is covered with Glossy Accents.
For the inside I drew the small skating rinks and added more critters and packages. Each rink is covered with Glossy Accents, On the side background panels and the little background pieces, I added more snow.
It’s all finished off with ribbon and Baker’s twine. I LOVE the Tag Book die! Hugs, Fran

Isn’t this cute? The barn door slides across the card to reveal the greeting! Our farm has black barns with red trim so that’s where I started. I used the new Simple Stripes embossing folder on the background to add texture. After I stamped the barn door, I used colored pencils to add some shadows on the boards.
The wreath is stamped on Old olive card stock and the flowers are die cut separately.
I added a few flowers to brighten things up. This is a great stamp set and die and, as always, you get an extra 10% off if you purchase the bundle! Hugs, Fran
This may well be my favorite Saleabration set – Party Pandas I used these cute little guys to create two shaker cards. There are a few differences (besides the colors!) so let’s take a look at them.
I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits to make the openings on both cards. This one is a 4 x 5 1/4 white piece with some Tangerine Tango DSP behind it. The hat, ballon and heart on the envelope were colored with Stampin Blends and the openings were filled with some retired beads and sequins. After I die cut the openings, I put the die back over the opening and used a Tangerine Tango Stampin Write Marker to make a stitched line around the hearts.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
For this card I switched to Calypso Coral and used the Diagonal Stripe stamp to create a tone on tone background. The piece is slightly smaller- 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 – because I wanted to add a black mat to the back. And I ditched the patterned paper on this one and just used white. Birthday Banners is the Karen Burniston Design Challenge for this month! I used the Tag Book die and it comes with the banner piece – so that was easy! The flowers are die cut using the Karen Burniston Flowers and Bee die in Real Red, Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst and white with some glitter embellishments in the centers. The bee was cut out of Daffodil Delight and Vellum card stock and paper pieced together. I cut the Tag Book in Berry Burst and added some Tutti-frutti Designer Series paper that will be in the new Occasions paper along with the stamp, Picture Perfect Birthday and the Glimmer paper.
I repeated the flowers and leaves on the inside of the Tag Book die.The DSP on the inside is from Eastern Palace Specialty paper in Lemon Lime Twist.
A little bit of sparkle trailing along the inside.

Saleabration starts January 3rd and this is one of the choices that is free with a $50 purchase. For this card, I stamped the shoes from Epic Celebration in Momento Tuxedo Black in and colored them in with Stampin Blends. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The guitar card was colored with colored pencils on Crumb Cake card stock. It didn’t really come out like I had imagined in my head – so I added shimmer pen (because that should make it better, shouldn’t[‘t it?) I think I will try it again with the Stampin Blends 🙂 Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
