This week’s challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges is Back to School which always makes me think, red, white and blue and Labor Day. This image is a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl. The stars in the background are made using Stamping Up’s Oh My Stars embossing folder. The image was colored with Copic markers.

On the inside I used Karen Burniston’s Snowman Twist Circle die (again, yes I know!) and her wonderful Words 2, Birthday Die Set. The little stars are attached to fishing line so it shakes when opened. I also used Karen Burniston’s Nature Edges dies for the bottom of the area where you write your greeting. Today’s challenge at Crazy 4 Challenge is a sketch challenge! I used Stamping Up’s Tranquil Tulips on the front. This card is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/4. And here is the sketch –

Crazy For Challenges – Monochromatic

This challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges is a Monochromatic Challenge. I chose yellow with black as my accent color. The background on the front of the card is done with a stencil and shimmer spray. The sentiment and diet are from Stamping Up’s Sunshine Sayings and matching die, Sunshine Wishes. I added rhinestones and metallic stars and a scallop boarder from the Colorful Seasons die.

Inside I used Karen Burniston’s Snowman Twist Circle die to create the sun popping up! I added sunglass from SU’s Pocketful of Sunshine die and lot of shimmer 🙂 I repeated some of the accents from the front on the inside. This is such a fun challenge and I hope you’ll play along! Hugs, Fran

The challenge this month is Summer Road Trip and I’m taking a motorcycle 🙂 This set is called One Wild Ride and I used some retired DSP to make a Joy Fold card with a surprise inside. The image and sentiment are embossed on the DSP and the little sign is popped up to hold the card shut.
