Category: Big Shot Daisy #2 die

Summer Daisy

I am currently using up various pieces that, for one reason or another, weren’t used on projects but were kept in pile!  (Does this happen to you?)  One piece was a daisy made from the Daisy #2 Big Shot die.  I paired it with the upcoming Summer Smooches DSP.  Demonstrators were able to pre-order it in March – cool!  This DSP (and the suite that goes with it) will be available to you the month of April as a sneak peak purchase for the new Idea Book!  (Don’t forget that the current catalog is ending May 31st!)

The fabric brads are so nice – and they will only be available in April!  The color is wonky in the close up but I used More Mustard, Delightful Daffodil and So Saffron to make the daisy.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Pursuit of Happiness
card stock – Delightful Daffodil smooth and textured, More Mustard, So Saffron, Island Indigo, Whisper White, Summer Smooches DSP
Ink – Basic Black
Etc – Scallop Trim punch, Daisy #2 die, sewing machine, Summer Smooches brad

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Upsy Daisy Flip

I’m interrupting the sneak peeks to share a sample I did for a friend who’s daughter is getting married this summer.  She (the bride) wants a card for her “save the date” magnets.  I have to say, I think these magnets are very cool – stick it on my refrigerator and then it’s in front of me all the time and maybe I’ll remember!  She wanted lots of color and something fun so I made a flip-flop card.  Her colors are red/turquoise – we’re still working on those – so for the sample I used Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze.

Open it and the magnet will fit in the center-

(That last picture is kind of wonky!)

Ink – Baja Breeze, Versamark
Etc- Daisy #2 die, Bird punch, Cherry Cobbler seam Binding, Hemp Twine, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, 3/4″ circle punch, Black embossing powder

Once she makes some decisions, I’ll share some of the other samples.  Enjoy! Hugs, Fran

Halloween Treat Box

Here’s another idea for using the bat clips (the bat punch is in the clearance rack!) for Halloween treats.  I used Out on a Limb from the Holiday Mini and Pick Your Poison Designer Series paper to decorate some gable boxes and added the clips at the top.

On some I did the spiders and on some I did the bats.  The entire box is spritzed with Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black and the top piece has scalloped Basic Black in a “roof” sort of look.

The flower is made with the Daisy #2 die –

Then I added the clip –
