Word Play is a great set – very clever sentiments that can be used as the focal point of any card. Here’s one I did for a young lady that just got accepted into her first choice for college.
Supplies
Stamp Set – Word Play
Stampin Write Markers – Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red
card stock – Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Big Shot Embossing Folders – Dots, Vintage Wallpaper, Square Lattice
Big Shot Scallop Circles #2 die, 3″ Circle die
Ect – Baja Breeze seam binding, Adornment, Scallop Trim punch
The card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half. I add a Dotted layer (5 1/4 x 4) and then embossed a 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 layer with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Punch the long edge. Tape the ends of the Baja seam binding to the back of the layers and add a bow to the front. (I used a Rose Red brad originally on the bow – then changed my mind and added the adornment to the top of the brad!)
The Scallop Circle was run through the Big Shot a second time using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Ink up the sentiment and stamp it on the 3″ circle. Re-ink and stamp again on a scrap. Cut out the arrow and pop it up. Add to the card with Dimensionals.
On the inside I added another 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Whisper White and embossed the bottom 1″ with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
