I did Beate’s weekend sketch challenge– I’m just late posting it! Not mention I’m stuck on the Groovy Guava/Ruby Red and Embrace Life combo! The background flowers were done with bleach – again – and the main flowers were done on watercolor paper (stamped with Timber Brown Stazon) and watercolored with the aquapainter and ink pads.
Before the flowers dried I shaped them with my fingers to give them a bit more dimension. Then I colored the centers – the “dottie parts!” – with the Ruby Red Stampin’ Write Marker and put drops of Crystal Effects on them. The ribbon is the Groovy Guava Double Stitched ribbon. I’m not sure if this is going to be used as a thank you that I need to send or a get well (that I also need to send) so I’ll add the sentiment when I decide. (I procrastinate, yet again!) Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
