This was for a demo challenge today. The card is 5.5 x 5.5 base of Barely Banana with a 5.24 x 5.25 layer of Night of Navy. The main panel is 5 x5 Barely Banana that has been scored at every inch both ways. Then I stamped the Riot of Petals with Night of Navy Craft ink. This gives the tiled look. (There is glitter in the center of the flowers – but you can’t see it in the photo.)
Happy Mothers Day is from All Holidays and was stamped twice – once in Night of Navy and once in Barely Banana. The ribbon is white taffeta. The frame was stamped and cut out and then layered. Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Beautiful, Fran! TFS
Very sweet card! I love the technique, it looks great!
So very clever of you, Fran! I love the tiled look! I like how you stamped the sentiment twice too! You’re AMAZING!
Just ordered the background stamp Riot of Petals, so pretty. You did a great job and kept it simple for all occasions. What did you use to score the card, all I have is the 12″ cutter with the scoring blade.
So beautiful !!!
That is nothing short of gorgeous, Fran!
Beautiful and so simple. Thanks. What stamp set is the border around “Happy Mother’s Day” from?
