I love this set! (and it’s on sale!) I have no little ones around here – but am really enjoying playing with it! Sometimes it’s just fun to play with our toys!
To make the card, I folded a 1/2 sheet of Pixie Pink in half to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Using the cupcake image stamped on my stamp a ma jig, I used a black Stampin’ Write Marker to stamp the outline of the cupcake and frosting (omitting the sentiment) so the left side of the cupcake lined up with the fold. This means that part of the “frosting” was not stamped on the card stock – that’s okay. Then I stamped the frosting on Whisper White and cut it out. Before I adhered it to the top of the card, I drew lines on the Pixie Pink with a Pixie Pink marker, then adhere the frosting and color the sprinkles with Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink and Lovely Lilac.
To make the sprinkles stand out, cover them with a dot of Crystal Effects and let dry.
Stamp the cherry on a scrap of Pixie Pink, cover with a 2 way glue pen or Crystal Effects and sprinkle the Chunky Glitter over it. I let it dry before I shake the excess off. Adhere the cherry with a large pop up glue dot. The sentiment is from Party Hearty and was punched out using the large oval punch. Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Your huge cupcake is so cute!! I love your sprinkles and sparkly cherry!! Yum!!
I LOVE it! Especially how you added the cutout frosting on top, then the marker lines for the cupcake wrapper, and finally the BLINGED out cherry on top. Definitely a winner.
