I thought I’d show you a few cards using A Kind Word (one of my favorites) that I made while I was trying to decide what to send in for the Artisan Award. Most of my cards had several “run throughs” before I picked the final one to send in.
This one uses the now retired Bella Rose DSP. The “curtain” is edged with the scallop punch and it’s tied with the retired Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon. The “sun” is sponged with So Saffron and the girls is colored with SWMs.
Here she is again in Pink Pirouette. The “curtain” was run through the Big Shot using a texture plate and then punched with the Eyelet Border. Instead of ribbon I used the Designer Bouquet buttons. Her dress is colored with a blender pen and ink pad and the rest is SWMs. (This one is actually my favorite!)
This is the one that was sent in – using the Tea Party DSP. I used the Hodgepodge brad in the corner of this one. Same girl – many looks! Don’t we all try to be as versatile as she! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
