The Karen Burniston Challenge this month is to use the Pattern Plates. I started with the Tile Plate and used the Crosshatch Rectangle dies to create a cut out center and to make a frame. The background piece was done with Distressed Oxide inks and sprinkled with water.

The flowers are from the Flowers and Bee die and the sentiment is die cut 3 times and stacked from the Word Set 8 – Congrats.

The inside used the Ups Daisy die to lift the sentiment into the air.

You can see the mechanism here.

It makes a cute card. Make sure to check out the rest of team’s Pattern Plates designs. And, as always, Karen’s card will be out on Wednesday! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran

So clever to cut out the center and frame it and of course, I love your background. It’s blue.
Thanks, Beverly!
