This is one of those sets that I loved the moment I saw it – but put off getting. I can’t really tell you why I adore these chairs, but I do! So, mixing a few things together – a challenge using pearls, a sketch challenge and some inspiration from Selene Kempton – I made this card.
I cut the card 4.25 x 11 and made a slit at the fold for the ribbon. The Medallion stamp is done in White Craft ink. Since I’m still using up a retired pattern of Pink Pirouette (man, I have a lot of this paper!) I made the flowered strip by just cutting a line of flowers and adding the pearls to the centers.
Supplies
Stamp Sets – Have a Seat, Grateful Greetings, Medallion
card stock – Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette DSP
Ink – White Craft, Early Espresso
Ect – Early Espresso Satin ribbon, Scallop Trim border punch, pearls, Itty Bitty flower punch
Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Lovely card. I’m with you – I’ve been liking the chair cards popping up in the blogosphere. I see an empty chair or bench and immediately think of the sentiment ‘missing you’ and how perfect it would be for Operation Write Home. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is gorgeous, Fran!! I love the images and pretty colors too!!
