Getting Ready to Swap

Here is the card that I made to swap at leadership.  It’s a 3 x 6 base of Wild Wasabi with a 3 x 5 3/4 piece of Blue Bayou over it.  The short end of the Blue Bayou is scalloped with the corner rounded.  Then I added a 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 piece of Porcelain Prints DSP with 2 photo corners punched from Wild Wasabi.  The stamped part is a 2 x 4 1/4 piece of Whisper White stamped with Enjoy Every Moment in River Rock and Blue Bayou.  The circle is stamped in Wild Wasabi and punched out with the 3/4″ punch and popped up with a dimensional.  This is adhered to a 2 1/4 x 4 1/2 piece of Blue Bayou and adhered with Dimensionals over a piece of Blue Bayou Double Stitched ribbon.  Whew!  Everything is stamped and cut/punched – just needs some assembly!

I’ll take a pic of my 3-D item this afternoon!

I also made the Brayer Skies card in a 6 x 6 format – okay – not for swapping – just for fun!  I added a moon by stamping a circle in Versamark and embossing it with clear powder.  Again, it’s very glittery – which doesn’t photograph.  sigh…..

I’m going back and forth on whether to take my computer with me to Leadership.  Any thoughts on blogging from CA?  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  1. Given your history with computers lately ….. DON’T DO IT !!! LOL! Just kidding! I know I would LOVE to hear from you while you’re in CA! These projects are first class, Fran (just like everything you do!). Got room in your suitcase for me? You could just swing through Phx on your way, right?! Have the time of your life, my friend!

  2. Your swap card is beautiful, Fran!! I love it, and everyone else is sure to as well! Your brayered card is lovely too!!

Have fun at leadership! It would be nice to “hear” from you while you are there…but I would understand why you wouldn’t take your puter. 😉
