Garden Whimsy

Garden Whimsy was one of the sets in the new catalog that I just HAD to have – and I just love it!  This card uses the Swirly jumbo wheel on the Old Olive background placed on a Rose Red card. I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color the flower and stamped the butterfly in Brocade Blue – twice.  Cut the wing out on the second butterfly and bend it slightly so it lifts off the paper.  I used Crystal Effects to adhere just the edge to the card.  Since I can use my cropodile (!) I set eyelets in 2 of the corners.  While I had my Crystal Effects out, I added some glitter to the butterfly’s wings.

Tonight is the second class for the mini flip album.  Then my girlfriend and I are going to figure out how to make them “school themed!”  Fun ideas for the middle school/high school girls! I’ll add it to my calendar when we get them finished!   Hugs, Fran

  1. Your card is beautiful! I love the colors and background. The sentiment looks pretty as the butterfly trail, and I love the dimension of the wings!
