After spending about 4 hours yesterday updating my contacts and syncing one program to another – I awoke to no computer at all! The screen wouldn’t come up – nothing, nada, caput. Sigh…..Keep in mind that this is the computer that was sent away for 5 weeks just one month ago! So that’s that. I’ll send it back again – but in the meantime, a different store is copying my data onto a new computer. Is technology a curse or a blessing?
So I’m looking back in my files for something to share with you – this is a project I sent in to SU when I applied to be a display stamper.
It’s a little box that holds 3 x 3 cards. (The tutorial for the box is on my website under the tutorial button/love note box) I added a rounded top that slips under the front piece. The “lid” was run through the crimper to give it some texture. The stamp set in the Defining Alphabet and the Rough Edges alphabet (for the little words) The edge us done with the spiral punch. The pencil is made from a Word Window punch.
First I punched it in Kraft and cut a point at one end. Then I punched it in Pretty in Pink for the eraser. The body is punched in Summer Sun and has the ends trimmed off. The metal around the eraser is Brushed Silver, run through the crimper and trimmed.
Here’s what the set looked like! Fun to drop in a child’s lunch box! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Fran, I can’t BELIEVE your back luck with computers lately. I feel for you! Computers can be so-o-o frustrating! Hope the issues get resolved quickly for you!
Super cute project, btw!
I’m so sorry about your computer, Fran!
Love your projects! So darling!!
