First and Foremost

I have a beautiful card to share with you that my friend Nina made!  Isn’t it lovely?

The colors are so soft and pretty!

Next is a mirror/note board I made for my daughter’s locker at school.  I used a large book board chipboard piece and the outline piece of a flower from the chipboard set.  This is cover in fine Cosmo glitter using the 2 way Glue Pen.  The DSP is from the soon to be retired Cutie pie – so easy because it comes just like this!  I tied a 5/8 Certainly Celery ribbon around it, added some cell phone gems on the bottom and “voilà!”  I’m finished!  Then I rolled an extra piece of DSP (1 1/4″ x 3″) into a RSVP pen – put a small piece of velcro on it and the other side onto the board, added some magnets to the back and it’s ready to hang.  Does she love it?

Ummmmm, well not exactly!  It’s too “girly” looking!  Sheesh!  I’m giving it to my niece!  She’ll love it – and if she doesn’t – well, she won’t say so!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  1. If it makes you feel any better, I like your mirror/note board! Geez … kids! I have the same problem at my house … I don’t even make cards for them anymore … they couldn’t care less!
