D is for Dog

A good friend of mine does a lot of work with one of our local dog shelters.  She always needs cards for people who have lost their furry friends.  I thought it would be a good idea to make her a package of cards to have on hand.  This is one of those cards that I started using a sketch – and by the time I was finished it looked nothing like I had planned and didn’t even resemble the sketch.  (I can’t even find the sketch!)

The center piece is the Scalloped Square Big Shot die that I ran through the dot impressions folder.  I already had several squares die cut so I just decided to see what I could do with them.

Stamp Set – D is for Dog
card stock – Real Red, Old Olive, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink – Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy
ect – Big Shot Scallop Square and Dot impressions folder, Chocolate Chip 5/8 grosgrain, 1 3/8″, 1 1 1/4″ and double hole circle punch

The next card was cased from the Idea Book and Catalog.  In the catalog it features the C is for Cat.

Stamp Set – D is for Dog
card stock – More Mustard, Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, More Mustard DSP
Ink – Versamark, Basic Black
ect – Real Red button, double hole punch
, Black embossing powder, floss

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
