It’s a Challenge

I participated in a couple of Sudsol challenges to CASE a card from our Stampin’ Success magazine.  The first card chosen was a 3 x 3 gift card and this is my take on it.

Stamp Set – Vintage Vogue
card stock – Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Ink – Rose Red, More Mustard, Basic Black
Stampin’ Write Markers – Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum
Ect – Antique brad, vintage brads

The next challenge (still a case challenge) took me totally off the grid.  This card looks almost nothing like what we were suppose to do!  I intended to (and still intend) try a technique shared by another demonstrator – but I was sidetracked on the way to trying it!

The Gerbera daisy is made with the Daisies #2 die in Poppy Parade, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler.  The center is a Build a Brad filled with Crystal Effects and microbeads.  Let the CE set up for about 15 minutes and then gently pour the microbeads over the top.  Let it dry!

Stamp Set – Bring on the Cake
Card stock – Soft Suede textured, Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler
Ink – Soft Suede, Basic Black
Big Shot dies – Daisy #2, Elegant Bouquet embossing folder
Ect – Real Red Brads, Real Red satin ribbon, Build a Brad, microbeads

Another note – I used Crystal Effects to glue the flower to the card.  I certainly didn’t want it falling off!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
