Easy Events

I did a workshop this weekend featuring the set Easy Events.  I love this set because it covers just about everything you can imagine – an all purpose set!  Here are a few of the samples I showed.

I cheated on this cute card (don’t tell!)  Instead of trying to line up the image in the oval – I stamped it on another piece of card stock, punched it out and inserted it.  The heart has a dot of Crystal Effects on it to give it some dimension.

Supplies
Stamp set – Easy Events
card stock – Real Red, Whisper White, Old Olive
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers –  Old Olive, Real Red
Etc – Square Lattice embossing folder, Designer Frames embossing folder, Real Red grosgrain, Crystal Effects

Another Real Red and Old Olive sample – a treat box –

Okay – I got a bit carried away with the layering and Crystal Effects!  Can you see it?

The bird and leaves are cut out and layered and the clock face has Crystal Effects on it.

  1. Every time I see a stamp set that you have used on a project I want that set! Even if it’s a set I decided I could live without. But now that I’ve seen how you used it I must have it. These projects are simple and clean, but very, very appealing. Thanks for sharing them. H

  2. Love the detail on the clock. Looks great. Adding the oval to the other card sure made it easier to line up correctly. Sometimes I forget to do this and it always causes problems.

  3. I love your tree card (such pretty colors and great texture), and your treat box is wonderful with those popped images!!

  4. like your cards
