I’m working on a couple of projects using the Dress Form Framlits (imagine that?) and want to show you something else that’s fun to do with them! Aren’t these cute? Kimberly Van Deipen has a video on how to do the skirt. When I did these, I only had the little teeny tiny spools – and I think the larger ones work better. These were so small I had to anchor them with washers.
This is a great time of year to find tulle. With wedding season coming up – it’s everywhere. Just think of all the things you can use to decorate these! Pull out all that stuff you’re hoarding keeping for something special! I’ll show you more when I get these projects finished – but you go right ahead and try this now! Hugs, Fran
Wow!! Fabulous and thanks for sharing the link to Kimberly’ video, somehow I missed it….wonderful and thank you for sharing…again, wow!
Super cute, Fran! I love your thinking adding the washers to make the smaller spools work. Clever!
This is absolutely adorable. I love *love* the blue one. The color is so soft and delicate. I’ve found the spools at Antique shops. All fun sizes and shapes. They are SUPER cheap too. 🙂
Ooooh! What a great excuse to go antiquing!
