Here are two cards using Reverse Words (one of the new SAB offerings) and Moon Baby (Occasion Mini.)
I stamped the baby and fussy cut her out. The Hooray is stamped in Pink Pirouette and die cut with a stitched rectangle, placed on a Pink Pirouette stitched rectangle and then all put on a background embossed with the Large Polka Dots embossing folder.
And here’s the baby boy version done in Marina Mist. Hint – if you have trouble fussy cutting the umbrella stick – just cut off the top of the umbrella and then reassemble. Only a few more days to get Reverse Words! Hugs, Fran
Make a Medallion is another stamp set you can choose as a Salebration freebie starting tomorrow. For this card I stamped it multiple times in Versamark on Whisper White and then heat embossed it white embossing powder. (You could also use clear) Sponge on Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party from bottom to top and add a sentiment strip from One Big Meaning. Add a little bit of 3/8 Metallic Ribbon and some sequins and mount on some Heavy White card stock. Hugs, Fran
Here’s my version of the Salebration set Hey Chick. I used inks and an aqua painter to color the hens and Serene Scenery Designer Series paper for the card. Lots of fun! Hugs, Fran
It starts today! Salebration! And this card shows off 2 of the free sets available when you spend $50. Avant Garden and So Very Much. I stamped a flower from Avant Garden in Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango on to water color paper and then added leaves in Wild Wasabi and Garden Green. Using an aqua painter, I got the flowers and leaves wet and let them blend a little bit. After they had dried, I stamped on top of it with the So Very Much sentiment in Stazon. Think of all the color combos you could use! Hugs, Fran
So while I was wandering around Pinterest, I saw a beautiful card done by Jennifer McGuire (I think!) using the resist technique. This is where you heat emboss your image and sponge (or brayer) ink over the image and the ink “resists” your embossing. I tried it with the Saleabration set Hello. I stamped the image over the front of the card, embossed in white, and sponged with Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. The result was a bright, happy card! The sentiment is from Timeless Love – one of my favorite sentiments!. This Hello set is only available for a few more days! Need it? Yes you do – and you need to hurry! Hugs, Fran
This card is made with the Large Number Framelits dies and a new Saleabration set coming out of the 15th of this month – Party Pants. The 1,3 and 5 are die cut and colored underneath and the 2 and 4 are popped up.
Then I added lots of Candy Dots! Inspired by one I saw online (I think it was Mama Elephant) that used little numbers, I knew I could make this with the Large Numbers (just fewer numbers.) I think this would make a cute kiddos card or switch up the numbers, have it say 29 – and send it to me 🙂 Hugs, Fran
There are only 2 weeks left get certain SAB products – Hello, Sky is the Limit, and Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper! These will not be available after February 15!
There are some new things coming out after that but if you want these, you need to hurry 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Birthday Blooms and Timeless Textures – both in the upcoming mini catalog – are so pretty together! I used Smokey Slate, Basic Gray and Archival Black to create the background. The flower was stamped in Stazon on watercolor paper and watercolored with an aquapainter and ink pads in Blushing Bride and Garden Green. After it dried, I used my Wink Of Stella clear to sparkle the entire flower. I got carried away and added Dazzling Details in the center of the flower and around the highlights 🙂 These stamps will be available on the 5th! Hugs, Fran
Happy 2016! Let’s start the New Year with a Sale a bration card. This is Hello and it’s available free with a $50 purchase from January 5 – February 15. The little flowers are from another SAB set called Botanicals For You. It’s available from January 5 – March 31. Check those dates! There are some products available for a limited time during the limited time sale! I wanted to do a multi-colored Hello, but didn’t have a multicolored pad. So I inked the stamp up with Lost Lagoon and then used a sponge to sponge on Blackberry Bliss from one side, letting it blend as it reached half way. The colors are taken from another free SAB product, Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. Lots of freebies going on here!
Best wishes for the New Year! Hugs, Fran
