All About Sugar

All About Sugar 01

Summer birthdays!  (Or 4th of July – but that was last weekend!)  We have some very special summer birthdays and I always like to create decorations and party favors to help us celebrate.  This is the French Fry box and All About Sugar stamp set.  The little “party” banner is on a lollipop stick and the Fry box has a star die cut from the center with sequins between acetate.  A little bling for the party.

The box was made with the new heavy Whisper White card stock and stamp in Real Red.  Time to party!  Hugs, Fran

Congrats from Cheepers

PIU Cheepers 02

Running late today, but I wanted to share “Cheepers” and her Pop It Ups Rectangular Pull Card.  On the outside I used Karen Burniston’s Farm Greetings Clear Stamps and Cheepers, along with a Stampin Up Star Framelit.

Inside is the double of Cheepers and Itty Bitty Banners on the Pop up part.  Fun – and useful this time of year!  Hugs, Fran

Deck the Paws

Hot Diggity Dog 03

The Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast this month start with using non-traditional colors on a Christmas card.  I used Melon Mambo, Black and Tempting Turquoise – that’s non-traditional!  These pups from Hot Diggity Dog have just spotted the perfect tree!  The sentiment was done in My Digital Studio2.  Play along using the keyword CCREW1214DF, CreativeCrew, SUO

Project Life Pocket Cards

PL 01 June

This is my June Project Life by Stampin Up card.   I die cut a heart and added strips of the Moonlight Designer Series paper behind it.  Then I stamped the month with Project Life Day to Day.

PL Patriotic

For July, I covered a card with Real Red stripes and added a Star Framelit on the top.  The Real Red stars were stamped with Pictogram Punches.  Rhinestones added some bling!

My Project Life Open House is on September 16th.  Come play with all the great new Memory Keeping products!  Hugs, Fran

Gift Card Star

Bright & Beautiful 05

These gift card holders (136662) are so much fun to use!  The little fronts (3 7/8 x 3 7/8) are just the right size for cut embellishments.  I used the Distressed Dots embossing folder to make the background and then added embossed stars in White and Cherry Cobbler  embossing powder.  By tucking a little piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding behind the front, this gift card holder can hang on a tree.

Christmas Bright & Beautiful

Bright & Beautiful 01

Silve and Gold!  This card has embossed stars in silver and gold over silver dot vellum.  The base is Brushed Silver card stock.  I stamped the sentiment on the vellum in gold and heat embossed and then added the “Christmas and New Year” on Whisper White in silver.  The little star clip and rhinestones finished it off.

Supplies

Stamp Set – Bright & Beautiful (Holiday Mini)

Card stock – Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Fancy Foil Designer Vellum

Ink – Versamark

Etc – Star Framelits, Basic Hodgepodge Clips, rhinestones, gold and silver embossing powder

Though it looks like a lot of work, the framelits make this card very easy to do.  You can get this stamp set and framelit bundle now – as a sneak peek – with the Big Shot and Bundles Promotion!  Hugs, Fran

Bright & Beautiful

Bright & Beautiful 04

Bright & Beautiful is a new set in the upcoming Holiday Mini – and it’s available as a bundle right now with the Big Shot and Bundles promotion!  This is a card I did using it and the new Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series paper.  This paper is so heavy it easily holds it own as a card base.  However – stamping on the design side did not show up as intended!

Bright & Beautiful 04 detail

I should have used some Whisper White to make the sentiment visible.

Supplies

Stamp Set – Bright & Beautiful

Card stock – Under the Tree DSP, Early Espresso

Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso

Etc – Burlap ribbon, pearls, Star Framelits

I share some more cards using this set this week!  Hugs, Fran
